🏍️ Tour Overview
This tour will take us deep into the heart of authentic Tunisia: from the mountain oases of Tozeur to ancient Berber villages and the golden dunes of Ksar Ghilane. A road trip that combines adventure and authenticity, guiding you through the soul of the desert — a unique experience designed for passionate riders.
Day-by-Day Itinerary:
DAY 1 – Genoa 🚢
Meeting and ferry departure from the port of Genoa. Introductory trip briefing during the crossing.
DAY 2 – 🚢 Tunis → Hammamet
Arrival in Tunis, customs clearance, and hotel transfer in Hammamet.
📍 70 km – approx. 1 hour riding
DAY 3 – Hammamet → Gafsa
Visit to the Medina of Hammamet and transfer to Gafsa.
📍 Approx. 320 km – 4h 30m riding
DAY 4 – Gafsa → Redeyef → Mountain Oases → Tozeur
We’ll ride the famous Rommel Track toward Redeyef, then reach the stunning mountain oases, the Mides canyon, and the cinematic landscapes around Tozeur, featured in many films.
📍 Approx. 200 km – 2h 45m riding
DAY 5 – Tozeur → Douz → Ksar Ghilane
Crossing the dried salt lake Chott el Jérid, we’ll ride to Douz — the gateway to the desert — and continue to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane, surrounded by vast sand dunes.
📍 150 km – approx. 2h riding
DAY 6 – Ksar Ghilane → Tataouine → Matmata
Discover the ancient Berber villages of Tataouine and the troglodyte dwellings of Matmata, carved into the rock.
📍 280 km – approx. 3h 20m riding
DAY 7 – Matmata → El Jem → Kairouan
Visit the impressive Roman amphitheater of El Jem — one of the best preserved in the world — then continue to Kairouan, Tunisia’s spiritual capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
📍 350 km – approx. 3h 45m riding
DAY 8 – Kairouan → Tunis
Leaving Kairouan, we’ll ride to Tunis and explore the ancient Medina and its lively bazaar after parking our motorcycles at the hotel.
📍 170 km – approx. 2h 30m riding
DAY 9 – Tunis → Cape Angela → Tunis 🚢 Genoa
In the morning, we’ll visit Cape Angela — the northernmost point of the African continent — before returning to Tunis for the ferry boarding.
📍 180 km – approx. 2h 45m riding
DAY 10 – 🚢 Genoa
Ferry crossing and arrival in the Port of Genoa in the evening.
End of the tour.
